At a key moment in John’s gospel as Jesus heads towards the cross, John quotes from 2 places in Isaiah, and then writes this: “Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him” (John 12:41)
As we read Isaiah, we get a powerful view of the glory of Jesus. So our prayer is that as we hear this incredible book, we would see Jesus more clearly, in all his glory and beauty, and be changed by his transforming power.
