Imagine a World Without Easter

Website - EasterEaster. It’s a time for chocolate, family, and fluffy bunnies. But is there more to it than that?

This year, we’re inviting you to imagine a world without Easter. For Christians, Easter is much more than junk food and a long weekend: we’re convinced that the news of Easter offers a bright hope, true justice, freedom from the fear of death, and an eternal purpose in life.

We’d love to share this great news with you. You’re warmly invited to come along and check out the claims of Easter for yourself over four talks:

IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT HOPE – SUN. 20 MARCH, 10AM
Summary: From an ancient part of the Bible, the book of Ecclesiastes, we’ll be considering what life would be like without God, and seeing how Jesus, in contrast to other things we might put our trust in, gives real and lasting hope.

IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT JUSTICE – FRI. 25 MARCH, 10AM
Summary: A more reflective service, reading and reflecting on the Bible’s account of Jesus’ death. In a world where we long for justice, but it rarely seems to come, how does Jesus death on the cross bring perfect justice?

IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE DEATH WINS – SUN 27 MAR. 10AM
Summary: The one certainty in life is that each of us will face death; and yet we so often long for it not to be the end. Come and hear the surprising and wonderful account of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, and reflect on all that means for those who put their trust in him.

IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT PURPOSE – SUN. 3 APR. 10AM
Summary: If Jesus really did live, die and rise again how does it give us purpose to live for?

All the details on where we are and what to expect are here.

If you don’t live near us at Trinity South Coast, you can find details of the other churches across Adelaide in the Trinity Network here. We hope you can join us.
